This Privacy Policy applies to genanurban.com and GENAN Content Publisher. Zhejiang GENAN Industry & Trade Co., Ltd.浙江舸楠工贸有限公司 is responsible for the information described in this policy. TikTok separately controls information it processes under its own privacy policy.
Information we handle
TikTok account information
When you choose to connect TikTok, TikTok may provide the basic account information you authorize, such as an account identifier, display name and profile image. We do not receive or store your TikTok password.
Authorization data
The desktop tool handles access and refresh tokens needed to keep the account connected. In the current desktop implementation, these credentials are encrypted and stored on the authorized computer rather than submitted through this website.
Content and publishing instructions
We process videos, captions and publishing settings only when a user selects them for upload or publication. Selected content is transmitted to TikTok to complete the requested action.
Website enquiries and technical information
When you submit a project enquiry, we collect the contact, company, market, product-reference and project information you provide. If you choose to attach a drawing or specification, that file is also stored with the enquiry. We do not ask for payment information through this form.
When you visit the website, hosting and security providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time and security events. Google Translate may process information and set cookies if you choose to use its translation feature.
How we use information
- Authenticate and display the connected TikTok account.
- Carry out uploads and publishing actions requested by the user.
- Maintain connection security and prevent unauthorized access.
- Troubleshoot errors, protect the service and comply with legal obligations.
- Review, route and respond to website and email project enquiries.
We do not sell TikTok user data or use it for third-party advertising.
Retention and deletion
Authorization credentials remain on the authorized computer until they expire, are replaced, the connection is removed or local application data is deleted. Selected publishing files are retained only as needed to carry out the user's request and for limited troubleshooting.
Project enquiries, attachments and business correspondence are retained while we evaluate or perform the requested work and afterwards when reasonably needed for follow-up, warranty, legal and business-record purposes. You may request deletion where applicable.
Security
We use measures designed to protect information, including official OAuth authorization, PKCE, state validation, encrypted local credential storage and access controls. No system is completely secure, so users should also secure their devices and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
Your choices and rights
You can decline to connect TikTok, disconnect the desktop tool, revoke access through TikTok, or stop using the service. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of personal information we control, or object to certain processing.

Children
The website and GENAN Content Publisher are business services and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the publishing tool.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service, law or platform requirements. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the latest version applies.
